The money questions
- How much does Appcrush take?
- 10% of the agreed amount. On a $200 job you get $180, less any currency conversion fee your bank charges. A fee-free credit from an invite waives the cut on one job.
- Can I charge for extra revisions?
- Yes. One revision is always included. When you apply, set what 3 revisions and unlimited revisions cost on top of your price: 15% and 35% by default, anywhere from 0% to 100%, or switch either off. Whoever sends the offer picks the option, and you can change the price in any offer you send. The add-on is part of your pay (our 10% cut applies). Revisions stay within the original brief and must be asked for within 30 days of your first delivery.
- Do I need to send tax forms?
- Usually not. If you're in the US and your payouts from us this calendar year, tips included, reach $1,500, we'll ask you to fill in a short online W-9, nothing to upload. We file a 1099-NEC once you reach $2,000 in a year. Outside the US you may be asked for an online W-8BEN instead. You're an independent contractor, so the tax on what you earn is yours to handle.
