I kept shipping apps nobody saw. So I built Appcrush.
Hi, I'm Flora Tong. By day I'm a marketing data analyst. I spend my time in dashboards working out which ads actually make people buy, and which ones just look nice in a meeting.
Before that I ran my own online store. I was the photographer, the customer support, and the person up at 2am tweaking Facebook ad sets. The ads that worked were rarely the polished ones. They were a real person holding the thing, talking like a friend would.
Then I started building apps at night. A lot of them, and I took a lot of wrong turns along the way. Shipping got easier every time. Getting anyone to notice didn't.
I knew exactly what I needed, and I still couldn't get it.
Short videos of real people using my app. That's it. Agencies quoted more than my apps would make in a year. UGC marketplaces were built for skincare and snacks: mail the product, wait two weeks. Creators didn't know what to do with an App Store link. And every hour I spent on marketing was an hour I wasn't spending on the product.
So I built the thing I wanted. Paste your link, get a creator brief written for you in seconds, and let people who actually like filming apps do the rest. They can shoot on a phone, use AI tools, or both. You review the video before you pay.
Appcrush is early and I'm running it myself. If you post a job, I'll read it. If something's broken or confusing, tell me. The contact form goes straight to my inbox.
